33: Seymour
If you're a constant reader, you'll know that Sunny and I bailed on Seymour earlier this year because he fell ill the morning after hiking the rest of the range. I've been trying to get us out to finish the Sewards for weeks, but commitments and weather have not been on our side. After the past couple of weeks watching our country take its final steps into soul-crushing oligarchy, I really needed a day in the backwoods. I also believed that this past Monday represented the last opportunity we'd have to hike a High Peak without crampons or snowshoes. With that in mind, I woke us up at 3am and drove 3 hours to the Seward Trailhead on Corey's Rd. There was some rain during the drive in, but it stopped before we arrived.
